HTML-FINAL · FINAL CHALLENGE · AT YOUR PACE
My First HTML Website
Turn what you have learned into your first website. Two pages, one project of your own.
An HTML project with your own content. Choose an interest or a fictional community. Download and open both pages from the same folder. Final assessment combines structural checks with a rubric labeled Self-assessed; this is not certification.
YOUR WORKSPACE
My First HTML Website
Create a website about an interest or a fictional community with index.html and about.html. Both need metadata, header/nav/main/footer, clear headings and paragraphs, and navigation in both directions. Add a list, an informative image with alt, and a labeled demonstration form with HTML validation. Use the supplied assets/observatory.svg or adapt your content theme to the illustration. Tables, CSS, and JavaScript are optional.

STEP-BY-STEP HINTS
- Start with the structure and navigation in both directions. Then add headings, paragraphs, and a list.
- Add the illustration to the appropriate page and build the form one control and label at a time.
- Use structural checks as guidance; complete the rubric only after reviewing your work.
REVIEW YOUR WORK · SELF-ASSESSED
Assessment needs evidence.
Check only aspects you have reviewed and satisfied. Aim for ≥80/100, pass all structural checks, and satisfy every required aspect.
Explain in your own words, using at least 40 characters. Record any checks you have not performed as unfinished.
Review reference: Nu HTML Checker ↗. Upload or paste only the practice project you want to check.
ONE PROJECT. A SIGNIFICANT STEP.
Final project complete.
Your final project meets the structure checks and self-review criteria. Keep your downloaded work and continue developing its content.
